In the past a saw-mill really existed in Čeňkova Pila (Čeněk´s Saw-mill) on the confluence of the rivers Křemelná and Vydra. It was named after a timber merchant by the name of Čeněk Bubeníček. Rafts were bound together at Paulina Louka and floated down the river Otava, originating here due to the joining-up of the two previously mentioned rivers. The place is well-known due to the sojourns of the composer Bedřich Smetana here. It is now a works recreation resort.
